What states follow daylight saving time?

Daylight saving time in the United States. Most areas of the United States observe daylight saving time (DST), the exceptions being Arizona (except for the Navajo, who do observe daylight saving time on tribal lands), Hawaii, and the overseas territories of American Samoa, Guam, the Northern Mariana Islands, Puerto Rico,.

How did this come about? We’re going into November 2020, not March?!

March = Spring forward, clocks set ahead one hour
November = Fall Back, clocks set back one hour

I am one of you that wish DST would just disappear and we would leave the time alone.  I used to really dislike it when I worked.  Now retired, I don't feel it as much but still would prefer to just let time naturally evolve.

Wish they would just eliminate it!  It just annoying and I could care less about that extra hour.

Again TellWut hits the nail!

survey question:
Experts say "falling back" may feel a little different this year as the COVID-19 pandemic has upended our usual schedules. Some professors predict the time-warping nature of the crisis could ease the adjustment, while a permanent-time proponent says the one-hour shift will compound the discombobulation of life under lockdown. Did you find this daylight savings time easier to adjust to than usual?

I plumb forgot about changing my clocks until the day of. Thankfully, I use my cell phone alarm (which automatically updates the clock) to wake me up. That was when I remembered, LOL.

I like it when time falls back an hour because I get an extra hour of sleep on Sunday. I do wish that they would do away with Daylight Saving Time though.

I will be glad when they do away with it and just leave it one way or the other.  A few states like Hawaii don't even bother with it.
