January Slow Down
« on: January 03, 2021, 07:16:15 am »
Happy New Year.

I hate to bring this up but normally and usually, January is a month when sites like FC have a slow down. This is how it has been during better times when FC was at the top of its game and Pre Covid. This was true of all my sites, not just FC.

It should be interesting to see what January 2021 will bring.

Yeah, that's true.   Also back in the day the holiday season, used to be highly active but that started going to pot years ago, even before Covid.

Not really.  I am doing really well on other sites. I keep up with earnings and looking back over the past few years January is not a lot less than anything else.  I don't think cov has anything to do with earnings going down unless it is because more people are doing sites like this. Thus making less opportunities for everyone.

This site can't possibly slow down much more than it has already done.  No TAP and not getting paid for the forum bonus is really hurting.

There used to be a very noticeable slowdown in January for most sites pre-covid. Sometimes things did not pick up again until the end of January or sometimes later.

We would be very busy during the last half of the year and then there would be the slow down.

Things are a lot different because of COVID.

I am going to write about two of my favorite sites: FC and Swagbucks.  I used to do well on both of them, had a lot of fun, and made some money. I was making about $100  every month on Swagbucks.

This was years ago.

So January came and I knew that there would be a slow down but it never happened with Swagbucks that particular January. I remember wondering about "why is there no slowdown"

Well, I went to sleep one January 31st and when I woke up, it was a whole new Swagbucks.

Everything took longer and paid less. Everything. A video that took 2 minutes and paid 5 cents in January now was 5 minutes and paid 2 cents.

At first, I thought that it was a glitch but it went on and on and on. I wrote support but never got a reply.

I thought that it was a late slow down but nothing changed.

It never went back to the old Swagbucks. I remained with them just like I remain with FC. It was and is very similar of what has happened to FC.

I learned to accept it. I now make about $25 a month as compared to $100 a month years back.

Made me think of a YouTube video  someone on here put on their post. The guy talk3d about opinion outpost and other sites.  He said you can make 7 to 8.00 an hour in what universe is that. You so cannot.  Do have to try hard to make a little money.

So far, I'm not complaining about my January at FC. I guess, my survey I completed today for $4.50 may have something to do with my positive attitude.  It was about osteoporosis, and I guess I qualified because I have it!!!  I haven't really paid that much attention to times of the year when things slow down.  I would think way more people have been dabbling in the PTC's due to the pandemic, and I guess that WOULD spread the opportunities more thin.

I, too, have osteoporosis and have tried that survey many times but was always disqualified. That includes today.

Wow,from what i have seen from many here, you are the exception to the rule.

I dont blame you if you dont give away your secrets, but hope you know about 180 day rule and dont lose out.

I put my banner up a month or so ago.I dont need the chump change anymore.Ive done well in other areas not internet related,i just enjoy the forum chat.

Id be concerned cos FC not paying forum bonus to get your bread Fred before something happens.

Even without the bonus, I am able to cash out every three months and I hope this continues.
