Ladies: Hyaluronic Pen Infusion Specialist
« on: November 05, 2020, 06:09:03 am »
Have any of you ladies ever heard of this?  I never did until a few days ago when an ad for a local licensed and certified specialist popped up.  I have wanted a bit fuller lips and a few wrinkles softened, but frankly, the pain of needles, especially in the sensitive area of my lips, have overcome this desire.

The person who does this in my area is only about 5 miles away and does free consultations and I am really tempted.  There is an offer for $100 off the treatment if booked before 12/18/20. The Hyaluron Pen Treatment infuses filler in lips with high pressure and without a needle.  It is supposed to be "less painful yet accurate."  I am wondering: How much less painful?  Does it have actual results?  What are the side effects, if any? (I could see bruising with much pressure.)  Also, how much does it cost?"  Anyone know anything???

As much as I would love fuller lips, I wouldn't try this. I don't like the idea of injecting anything into my face. Lol! It may be safer going to a specialist, but I know you can also buy those pens and do it yourself, which sounds like a disaster waiting to happen. I just started using a hyaluronic serum and a niacinamide serum a couple weeks ago, after I googled the crap out of them first. I wanted to know ahead of time what could go wrong and what to look out for. So far I like the niacinamide for smoother skin and smaller pores, but it seems like the hyaluronic acid is too drying for my skin, which is the opposite of its purpose. Go figure.

Anyway I would google "hyaluron pen dangers", and then decide if you want to risk it.

Thanks for your response.  I have already googled it and my questions are really not answered.  Yes, there are at home treatments with quite serious medical procedures.  In fact, my daughter found a whole  group those members regularly perform injections and procedures of all type.  I would never do this!  I guess I am going to have to decide how interested I am and go to the specialist with all my questions.  I want to see a number of before and after pics too!
