Virtual tours
« on: May 12, 2020, 08:22:03 pm »
I have seen in many places that there are many virtual tours that have been made available for free to the public of museums and other places.  Have any of you tried any of these tours and if so which ones would you recommend.

I would recommend you go "solo" because in group tours,
the tour guide will show only what he wants you see in a hurry.

I haven't heard of this, but I just looked it up. Apparently the American Museum of Natural History has weekly virtual events! Thanks for the idea!  :)

Opinion: 1) a view, judgment, or appraisal formed in the mind about a particular matter 2) belief stronger than impression and less strong than positive knowledge
This is the internet, learn to let people have opinions. And don't be so sensitive.  8)

My young cousin's teacher took them on a virtual field trip to some where.  She used some kind of online thing but she was like the guide.  Her momma said it was interesting.  The kid's seem to like it.

I have been in at least one virtual work meeting per day and one virtual happy hour per week for the last eight weeks. My Father, in Arizona, was in the Intensive Care Unit for the last three weeks. I coordinated a virtual visit through Zoom so that family and loved ones could speak to him, tell him how much they love him and how grateful they were to have them in their lives. The meeting was scheduled from twelve thirty to one thirty, went over by five minutes as he passed on/died. Today we toured a new Memory care unit for my mother in Colorado (she is in an advanced stage of Alzheimers) and just dropped off a holder's fee. Hoping to have her out her within sixty days. Colorado's central location will allow people from all around the country to visit.

I find it not worth it at all even if some are free its still not worth wasting your time on it.
