I tried a survey through Tap Research and every time I put my zip code in it would take the first number out (my zip begins with a 0)  so I couldn't even start the survey.

Sounds like a glitch in the survey, on to the next one.

Is this the first time this happened with a TAP survey or any survey for that matter? If it is the only time, you might have to move on to another survey. If this continues, you might want to email TAP support.

I just received a 7 day diary on another site that I am on. I have done a lot of diaries for this site but the age category only went up to 74 and I turned 75 in March. There is no way to update my age on the site and apparently it does not happen automatically, so I had to write support to update my age. I guess that I will not get any more diaries from this site.

Bostonphil, we are almost the same age!  My birthday is in March, too, but I am a year younger than you.  I'm curious as to what you mean by getting diaries.  I've not heard of a site that offers "diaries" and am wondering what that entails.

One ediary was about beverages and it entailed keeping a record of everything you drank for a 7 day period. Another one was about personal care products. You recorded every personal care product that you used over a 7 day period.

I have done many of these for this site over a period of years. I got paid maybe 5 or 6 dollars for these diaries after the week. it was a lot of work and details but I always worked p.t or I was retired. I had the time and I needed the money.

You have to be sent the diary offer or it has to be on your home page which is sort of the same thing.

As said for this one today, they were looking for persons no older than than 74. it may be that I will never qualify for an ediary agaun.

I would just try another Tap Survey and see if it happens again. It sounds like this particular survey is not working right.

might be a glitch since you are starting with 0... if it keeps happening then send TAP a ticket
