For us, it will be take out from a restaurant. Don't know which one yet. That's quite a lot of food for just the two of us. The boys always go to their wives or girlfriend's family. That's okay because I always cooked a full course dinner for 15 every year that included turkey, ham, mashed potatoes, stuffing, potato filling, and 3 veggies, plus apple and pumpkin pies. I like not having to cook anymore. We do the same for Christmas. At first, I was upset when hubby suggested take out, but now I love it.  :)

I love the football.  I go to visit my family in Staten Island NY.  Hopefully the Cowboys lose!

If man had an immortal soul Jesus words RE resurrection would make no sense.

If Man didn't have an immortal soul, how would he be resurrected? The soul returns to the body. If the soul dies and the body lives, that's called the Zombie.

Again, you have no concept of what the resurrection is. But it would be difficult for anyone who believes that Jesus wasn't resurrected physically as the bible says and instead believes Charles Taze Russel, who concocted some theory of Jesus body 'dissolving' in the grave.
Genesis 2:7 King James Version (KJV)
7 And the Lord God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul.

Ezekiel 18:20 English Standard Version
The soul who sins shall die

Not sure why i even waste my time with you.

As usual, you give verses that are completely out of context. The passage quoted- Ezekiel 18:20 in it's proper context is about children not being punished by the sins of the parents. It does not support your so called 'Soul Sleep' in any form.

In your shrewdness, you picked a translation that used the term 'soul', but the meaning is about the person in entirety.

The verse in context:
the child does what is just and right and keeps my decrees, that child will surely live.  The person who sins is the one who will die. The child will not be punished for the parent’s sins, and the parent will not be punished for the child’s sins. Righteous people will be rewarded for their own righteous behavior, and wicked people will be punished for their own wickedness. But if wicked people turn away from all their sins and begin to obey my decrees and do what is just and right, they will surely live and not die. All their past sins will be forgotten, and they will live because of the righteous things they have done.

Again, how does this support Jesus not being Resurrected in the flesh? It's nonsensical at best. ???

They also back up this what death is

Ecclesiastes 9:5 King James Version (KJV)
5 For the living know that they shall die: but the dead know not any thing, neither have they any more a reward; for the memory of them is forgotten.

And God telling Adam he would go back to dust.

So ur saying Jesus was resurrected as a man again?LOL!!Man UR blind. The link explained it.....cant u discern?Spirits thru out the bible have put fleshly bodies on.They didnt recognize him by the way he looked but by his mannerisms. He put the wounds in his body to convince Thomas, thats why he said after happy are those that believe without needing to see.

Plus when arose to heaven he was seen...was he a spirit then?

The resurrected Jesus, with a nail wound mark on his hands, appears in human form to the apostle Thomas and other disciples

The Bible’s answer
The Bible says that Jesus “was put to death in the flesh but made alive [resurrected] in the spirit.”—1 Peter 3:18; Acts 13:34; 1 Corinthians 15:45; 2 Corinthians 5:16.

Also,if Jesus was God who resurrected him?

I cant wait to hear the nonsense answer for this one.

We get together with my daughter's neighbors.  We make part of the food and they make some of the food and we all eat together.

I LOVE planning for Thanksgiving (e.g., purchasing the products, preparing the meal, sending the invitations).
