Stubborn Kitten

Every morning when I get the cats and kittens breakfast ready, at least 6 pile in the house and back out when I set their food down. All morning I was hearing a loud meow and thought it strange. So, after a an hour of this, I went and counted the 2 sets of kittens; the older ones and the 3-weekers. Only four of the older ones. One of the twin gray ones is gone. So, tomorrow is our family reunion and I need to make the Italian sausage and peppers. This usually takes 3/4 of a day. So I'd cut the sausage and brown some, then try to find the kitten. After 3 hours, I figured it was behind the microwave cart so took my long duster and put it between the cart and the counter, then under it, then between it and the 'fridge, then between the fridge and the box of new cookware. FINALLY! She peeked out and took off into the hallway and behind the storage shelving. I have been unable to get it out. I put food down but no luck. I don't know how to get her out of there now, but wish me luck. At least the sausage is in the Nesco (all 17 lb.!) and slow cooking. I am exhausted but have to get this nitwit out of the house. Wish me luck!!
