I don't know how to season any pans. I just always lightly spray my pans before I cook with coconut oil. Nothing sticks then.

I found it on how to do it.....................................To do so, simply mix 1 cup water, 2 tablespoons baking soda, and ½ cup white vinegar in the pot or pan that's lost its stick, set on the stove, and heat until boiling for 10 minutes. Wash the pot as usual, then rub vegetable oil on the surface to re-season it and get the non-stick surface back.Nov 4, 2016

This is one person's view that posted something on the internet. lol  I have never put baking soda or vinegar on mine.  Just rub some veg oil on it.  I did set in the oven for a bit once but usually don't even do that.

I actually had never heard of doing it this way.  Let us know how this works for ya.

If you never tried it then how do you know that it doesn't work?.....I will let you know after I do it :)

I use the cast iron skillet.  You were not clear in what kind of pan you are talking about. A regular non stick skillet does not need to be seasoned.  A cast iron skillet does.  I told you I run vegetable oil on the inside of the pan. That is the only part that needs to be seasoned.  I think once I put it in the over on a low heat for maybe 20 minutes or so.  I have only done that once.  I usually just rub the vegetable oil on the inside and it works fine.

I have never ever heard of anybody saying to use baking soda and vinegar in the mix.  That is what I said I have never done.  My grandmother always seasoned hers and she just rubbed some vegetable oil (the liquid stuff in a bottle not crisco) on the inside of the pans.  And they worked great.

Cast iron skillets are also not like the cheap non stick skillets you get at Walmart and things do tend to stick in them more easily that the ones with the Teflon. But recent studies have shown using the Teflon is not safe.
