The most I do hear is during work hours about somebody did this or that, just to make sure that the job gets done correctly. Most of the family tends to let others know what family members tend to be doing at a certain time. I don't think this would be tattling but more like informing.
I am talking about being a tattle tale. As for at work if it is not your job then mind your own business. But here is an example....
If you work on a job where you do not clock in and out but go to lunch and you just turn your time in and write down how long you took and you have one that is running to the boss saying she/he took 3 extra minutes on break or whatever. smh. I am thinking if you are doing your job and worrying about you then you should not know what anyone else is doing.
Another example...
Say you have a red light at the corner of a street and a car cuts thru the parking lot of a grocery store, also on the corner, to avoid sitting at the red light, and some helpful busy body gets the tag number and calls the police and tells on them. Just stupid stuff trying to get somebody in trouble.
I am not referring to reporting theft from the company or something like that. I am talking about adults who act like 5 year olds.
