tidying up
« on: January 25, 2019, 03:17:22 pm »
ever see this show on Netflix its quite annoying. this Asian gal comes into your house sees the mess then goes about helping you clean it up. she has you throw all your clothes on your bed and only keep the ones that give you happiness. I don't know do like to be a neat freak but it is time consuming.

Happen to be a clean freak myself and love it and keeping it clean is not as hard as getting it clean.

My brain won allow me to not put things away..I get in a certain mode and things have to be right or it throws me off. For instance, First thing in the morning, take my blood pressure, take my meds, make coffee and do surveys until I get tired of it.

I grew up hearing, "A Place for Everything, and Everything in its Place!"  But, I must admit, I'm a bit of a rebel. I tend to wait until the cleaning muse strikes, before having a perfect house.  As I get older, the old addage has taken on new meaning.  If I don't put something back in its place when I'm finished with it, I can't remember where I left it, and I'm in a world of hurt!

I just watched the show for the first time last night.  I thought it was weird when she had the lady pile all of her clothes on one bed.  The lady on the show I watched had a MOUNTAIN of clothes.

I didn't understand the part about touching each item to see if it gave the lady "joy".However, by the end of the show, the lady did have her clothes in order and all hanging in a closet.

I have netflix but have never seen this show. I will have to put it on my must watch list. I am still trying to get through the ranch .  I just have so much to watch and love adding to it. Who needs cable?

I have heard a lot of positive feedback from people that I know.  For them, it was the idea of getting started cleaning, seeing the results and then being encouraged to do more.
