I think its complete crap, everyone thought 6/6/06 would be the end too. But all that happened that day was AFI had their new CD come out.

this flim looks great but the plot is going to suck forsure , and as for the actual 2012 im not scarred into it , yes theyve been trying to figure out when is time going to end since it began , but the answer is No One will  ever find out lol NO ONE ...because GOD has figured each loop hole in ur thinking , thats Why you dont see us in time machines , or having magical powers ,  yes we can make wepaons to maybe cause a 2012 effect but as for predicting a actual date .... nah , live your lives people

Its a myth. The mayans just think that cycle is ending. What happens after a cycle? a new one starts.

I think the Mayans were killed or died of illness and never got a chance teach the next geration the skills required to continue calender and that is why it only goes to 2012. Remember the new millennium the year 2000 people thought the world would end then. I believe the human race will end by its own doing or a Celestial Event.
