So, CW has added another potential Superhero series to the network- Batwoman. This is supposedly the first lesbian superhero to get her own series. But she'll be first introduced in this December's big crossover event. Batwoman will be played by Ruby Rose.

I'm opposed to Ruby Rose for the fact that I don't think she's a good actor.

Why can't get an USA actors, I watch tv shows that are not USA workers. I hope we make money for watching another country get famous. I hope we have tariff for this. Like Walking Dead and others that I watch WHY can't we watch America Made.

I don't have a problem with the selection. Let's she what she can do.

That seems to be a popular opinion, but I've never heard of her.

I like the super hero franchises, I hope they don't go to far into her personal life. That's not why I am watching

:glasses-nerdy:   :silly:  Maybe she will do a  good job at this. I did not know that this was a new show on television. Batwoman might be a good show not just for the batwoman but for the show.   :glasses-nerdy:  :silly:

Sorry, I've never watched CW, but this conversation inspired me to post an acknowledgement to a character that may still be remembered from back in the day -- Batgirl played by Yvonne Craig who was a pioneer of female superheroes.  She played this superhero alongside Adam West and Burt Ward in the final season of the popular 1960s television series, Batman.

Yvonne was born in Illinois, but her family would move to Texas during her teen years (she attended my high school and was one of the celebrities we often bragged about as we completed our high school education).  She was photogenic and had talent as a student of ballet -- that training showed in her role as Batgirl/Barbara Gordon because she insisted they let her do her own stunts.
