Yes, I was shocked as well! It just goes to show you that power can make people believe they can get away with anything. I will miss him on the Today show, though. He's been a fixture on that show for two decades!

It just blew my mind that Matt Lauer is the next celebrity in what is clearly going to be a long list of male 'entertainers' to be fingered for bad behavior.  Honestly, I don't know of anyone who is not shocked about this one.  I practically grew up with Matt Lauer who just celebrated his 20th year hosting the Macy's Thanksgiving Parade.  I was still small when he took the job from Willard Scott.  It seriously blows my mind he is on this male inappropriate behavior list.  Kevin Spacey and the rest, not so much but Lauer, yes.

NBC announced it this morning. Evidently, there was a complaint from a co=worker about inappropriate behavior and supposedly they did an "extensive investigation" which led to him being fired.

Yes I was shocked to hear about the allegations. I used to work for NBC as a security guard though I myself never met him I felt like he was a good guy. To be honest I don't believe it if you think about the whole thing certain things don't add up. For instance they said it happened back on 2014 during the Olympics so why did it take the women so long to report it? Being a victim of a sexual assault back in my 20's I didn't report it then and I won't report it now. The next question is why now? Furthermore if he really did these things why isn't he arrested, these accusations fall in the area of rape? All I'm saying is I need more information before I believe.
