Power outage

Haven't been able to use FC for the past 2 days due to a power outage brought on by a strong storm. Happy to have power restored today!

Oh wow, I would hate to be without power for two days. Glad your power is back on. I am trying to talk my husband into buying a generator. Hurricane Katrina years ago we did not have power for six or seven days. Don't want to ever experience that again.

OMG, my neighborhood was without power for 5 days in a hot summer about 5 years ago.  It was awful!  I am a baby without power.  Just about 5 days ago the power went out here again for about 4 hours at 11pm.  It was dark/black, but luckily, not as cold as it would be mid January/February or so.  However, it reminded me how much I hate it and am a slave to my electricity, heat/cooling, natural gas, and cable/internet.  I love them all and do not want to be without.  What else it reminded me is that I need to try to start up my generator again by my lonesome to make sure I still remember the procedure.  Best to do it before it's too cold and dark!
