I have an Android and I bought the phone from QLink wireless.  My service is free because I fall into the low income category.   It's a lifeline assistance program like Safelink but I paid for the device because normally the plan doesn't include a smartphone.  I'm very grateful to have what I have.

I have an iPhone on a Verizon family plan. My daughter pays the bill every month and I believe she gets charged about $40 a month just for my phone service.

i have an android with verizon..i pay 44 a month

My wife and I each have a Motorola Moto G phone and pay $25 to $30 a month for both lines, depending on how much we use them.

I just got an htc 10, hoping it lasts me a while. Got it cheaper off amazon, joined my family plan.
