I feel so bad for those in Texas, And there is no let up right now, I  feel very fortunate to live where we  do . Yeah we may get  dry and hot sometimes for a few years, but  we don't have the floods and such, My aunt is  frantic as she has not hear from her daughter yet in Houston. So a lot of prayers have been going up, But since  the daughter is pretty resourceful I am praying she has  used those and is ok just not able call out right now.

I am so sorry for you guys in Texas.  I would gladly send you some of this heatwave and sunshine we are having. Unfortunately the weather all around you is what is making the storm stall out over you.

I am flying to Las Vegas on Friday for five nights.  I didn't pay much attention to the flight details today and I noticed that I was scheduled for a layover in Houston.  Then I noticed that they changed me to a different flight for me.  Pretty convenient.

Oh dear, I seen on the news of the highways that are not flooded, wow sorry, the highway is totally bumper to bumper jam It looks just like the starting of the tv show The Walking Dead. My heart thumps.

I definitely feel bad for Texas.  Mother nature is relentless in her attacks with the hurricane and now the rains which just won't let up.  It's not pretty and the damage done will certainly take months if not years to clean up.
