Milanese Chicken

Last night's dinner was different.
I had never had Milanese chicken before.
The menu described it as a salad.
I asked the waiter to bring me the chicken strips without the salad.
He didn't pay attention.
When it was served to me, the salad was huge and the chicken was served in strips.
Food combinations can be fun and promote creativity in the kitchen.
There are also times when certain combinations are mismatched or off balance.

Wow I googled Chicken Milanese and every recipe had something in common but all seemed to be different at the same time so I really can't imagine what yours was like.  Interesting looking - I probably would like.
