I've learned how to do some of it just through youtube and searching online. It's fun once you get the hang of it, but it cane be a little time consuming to start out.

I used to be able to write html.
I took a couple visual basics classes where I could make an exe program.... so long ago though.
Do people still even use visual basic?   lol

It is fun, but it is complicated to learn, but once you get it & can use logic to figure processes in order, it gets easy.  Also, if you get good at it, your potential for a great career is there for you.

Good Luck.   They have online courses at junior colleges.

lol.  I took Visual Basic.  I can do html.  No, I do not even think you can get Visual Basic software any longer.  There is more to it than simply writing html code.  You have to have software to make the exe work.  We were going to purchase the VB but it was around $500 or maybe more.  Don't remember.  That was several years ago.
I made a website using Front Page and beefed it up using html.

Well when you just say "coding" nobody really knows what you are talking about.  Kind of like people who try to speak in code to sound smarter than they are.  Or to make people feel like they are stupid because they don't know what they are talking about.  Simply saying "coding" could mean a lot of different things.
