Most people are nervous about having surgery, and yes you have every right to be, But now the doctors are so much more advanced in what they do. then back in the 50-s and 60, when i had my first ones.  Now they get you up  a lot sooner and the sooner you are up and going the better you do. So  i pray you will be  alright  and  that you recover quickly.

Will keep positive thoughts for you as you go through your surgery.   One thing I have learned about surgery, while the doctor is very important, it is equally important that you meet your anesthesiologist (if you're going to have general anesthesia).  It's important that you are comfortable with the person who will be putting you under.

I wish you the best of luck!  I know it's easier said than done, but try not to worry, today's medicine has improved greatly.  You will be fine and it will be over before you know.  Please keep us updated and you will be in my prayers for a quick and complete healing.
