I didn't last year because I was on a semester abroad and didn't have anything with me for a costume (well, I could've gone as a half-hearted hippie, I suppose), but the year before I dressed up as River Tam from Firefly. Which was kind of a problem since I didn't have the best outfit for it and I had a broken foot, so I was clumping around in a big walking cast. Don't know if I'll try anything this year.

Yeah, ya have to.  My kids would never forgive me if I didn't.  I is an excuse to forget you are an adult for a couple hours.  No I don't get candy,  I just help the younger one at the door.

I've always wanted to dress up as the corpse's bride from the movie but just can't find the time to make the costume and the ones that you can buy are so cheesy!
