Some like the thrill or the spontaneity of it but I do not like going shopping at the last minute. I usually plan out what to buy and by shopping last minute, I know my shopping will be limited.

Not unless it is an emergency.  I have worked in retail and I hate that people have to work til almost midnight on Christmas Eve and miss being with their family because people are idiots.  It is not like you do not know Christmas is coming.  And if you are worried about last minute people showing up and you want a gift for them then get some gift cards for like $10 for McDonald's. Or Walmart.  Or get some $5 boxes of candy.

As for people who wait until today to even start shopping - those people should be took out and shot :D.

Our Walmart closed at 8 PM last year on Christmas Eve.  They had to post management at the doors are force people to not enter because at 8:00 they were still trying to shop.  If you don't have your stuff bought by that late then just forget it.  Give them a check or cash.

No not unless I forgot something or it is an emergency...I don't be out there if I do not have to be.

I hate last minute shopping but I did find myself having to go out this morning for some extra gift cards. Next year I will get extra so that does not happen again.

Shopping at Walmart on Christmas Eve is as bad as shopping on Black Friday. I don't like crowds when I'm shopping, so those are two days I avoid at all costs. I'm usually a procrastinator, but the knowledge of the crowds of shoppers on Christmas Eve is the impetus to make me get my own shopping done earlier.

I like to plan ahead. I don't like to be the last minute shopper. I hope you got it all done!
