Both.  I have dogs and cats and love them all.  True, you can have more fun with dogs and do more things with them, but there's something special when a cat jumps on you and purrs.

I love all pets, period.  Since my husband and I have more than 5 cats, many more actually, I have officially been labeled 'The Crazy Cat Lady'.  That's just fine by me, I love it.

My husband and I have talked about getting a little dog but it just seems like our cats know exactly what we're talking about and they give us a very serious look: 'don't you dare think about it' - that's what I'm reading from their expressions.

Our scholar cats have even gone so far as to say that they have done the math and we can't afford any dogs.  LOL   :cat:  :cat:  :cat:

Totally a cat person, never met a cat I didn't like!! On the other hand there on only a few individual dogs that I like. Just not a dog person.

I like both, but prefer dogs. Cats just tend to not like me for some reason lol
I also like birds. I had a couple of parakeets as a kid.

I have always had dogs. We have 3 now, small dogs though. My grandma did have a cat who acted a lot like a dog though, waiting at the window watching me pull up and greeting me when I walked in the door. She was sweet and loved my grandpa. I guess I could say I would be happy with either for company

I love both, but I prefer cats. They are more suitable for me...

1. Cats don't need to be walked.
2. I don't have to worry about my lawn being ruined by urine.
3. I rarely have to wash my cat because they typically don't stink (she cleans herself).
4. I don't have to carry around poop bags.
5. I can let my cat go outside because she's smart enough to find her way back home.
6. I can leave my cat home alone for the day without her having separation anxiety.
