Satan is one big excuse for people... for example that lady who chopped her baby up in TX. was all blaming satan.. had nothin to do with all the drugs she dropped inside of her... ya gotta remember drugs make you see things that are not there, it is called "Hallucinations" ...if you have a depiction of a satan character scarred in your head from all the bible stories youve read it will manifest in your dreams.. Are you referring to my post? If so, no. I dont believe that. It's just a word used to describe bad things we do. "He's having problems with drugs but he's trying to stop. He's fighting his inner demons." Just an expression!

Well the reason we're challenging you is because you say things without any evidence to support it. If you want to believe demons exist, sure go ahead. In the mean time I'll believe in unicorns and santa-- there's no proof they exist, but I BELIEVE!!!

Nobody brought up god but yourself! But it's the other way around-- believing in god makes life easier as people believe everything happens because it's all in gods plan so they don't have to worry about anything that comes up. The "opium of the people" as some put it. It's the atheists that are 'out of the vault' and trying to figure things out by themselves while attacking nonsensical religious-extremists that like to prove them wrong simply because they look at logic and reason rather than spirituality. This isn't meant to offend you at all. I'm just trying to show one of many explanations. I'm not an atheist if you're wondering.

I think all of us have a 'demon' inside. It's just how we are by nature. My Son is a recovering addict and I am a recovering anorexic. We are not bad people we just fight our demons. The truth lies in being able to face our demons and let them go, not give them power to destroy.

That's a metaphorical meaning though, and a perfectly fine one.  If you wish to use the word "demon" in that context, there's nothing illogical about it.  It makes perfect sense.

A number of people in here (along with the thread starter), however, are talking about legitimately physical evil beings that cause harm in the physical world.

Nobody knows for sure and if we did then there would be no need to believe, it's like believing you are alive, you know for a fact you are. I don't see why people want to argue and challange me or anyone else because they don't know for sure themselves. I don't like atheists because they think people who believe in God are a bunch of idiots and try to belittle them and make them thing everything they say is stupid and I think that is the work of the Devil "Don't believe in God, Your life will be simple" I was always told to keep my opinions to myself and not to speak about religion or politics because people start getting mean and making fun of you.

If I did, I would have stated it plainly in the number of threads we've posted back and forth.  I think you're irrational on just about everything I've seen you post about.  I think you're deluded on a number of topics.  I think if you want to be taken seriously in what you say, you should put a little effort into coherent thoughts and post coherent things, rather than toss everything floating around in your head into a jumbled post and expect people to take it seriously.

None of that implies you're an idiot.  An idiot is incapable of learning.  I have no doubt you're capable, but stubbornly want to remain ignorant for whatever reason (maybe it makes you feel more comfortable, secure, whatever).

Yes.  Specifically if you live in the US.

Your logic, the way you think about things, your beliefs, your principles and morals being based on such beliefs, etc. effect your decisions on who to vote for, what causes to support, and so on.  If you think who you vote for or what causes you support doesn't effect those around you, you should pay more attention.

ahh naw dude... i know what you meant...  you are totally RIGHT! and i dont think the paranormal stuff is demons, i just think it is some kind of energy that emulates from the human body..and people believe what they wanna...cause you know our thoughts send out frequencies thru out the universe
