Only thing I am working on for Christmas, is saving enough to do it this year!! It's my mom's favorite holiday and I haven't been able to go big the last few years like I planned!! This year, I am hoping. I still have a bunch of gifts to make. This week sometime, I am planning on finishing up a necklace for my mom as it is still on the loom and I have a lot to do with it still!

I agree that it is too soon for Christmas decorations

Some people have to plan so they are not hit to hard at the holidays, so if you an get somethings bought and paid for ahead of time, Good for Me!  I have already started watching for sales on baking items and I get my pantry stocked now.  A lot of the baking items are marked lower now since they are not so in demand.  I like to have most of my shopping and  baking done by the week of Thanksgiving so that I can enjoy the holidays and not have to feel pressured for money or time.   I do not put up decoreations until after Thanksgiving, but by then I am ready and do not have to go and get overpriced things.                 [

I'm still a believer in no Christmas decorations before Thanksgiving.

I love Christmas.  I have to agree that it is early for displaying decorations.

I think it detracts from the season to get started so early. It shouldn't be until after Thanksgiving!

I understand that. I don't like seeing Christmas decorations before Thanksgiving.

If I can get a good discount by shopping early for Christmas gifts I don't mind if retailers put out their Christmas displays early and offer good deals.   :present: :present: :present: :present:
