walking to check the mail

I did not even know people had to take the car to go to their mailboxes!!! I thought the mailbox would always be relatively close to the house or apartment! That's something new..

I always walk to  the mailbox... but we live in an apartment complex and the mailbox is just a couple of buildings away from ours

My mailbox is just one house over.   My husband usually retrieves it... it's his "job"  lol

My mailbox is at the end of the driveway a distance of four cars.  I cut the lawn for exercise and that takes me at least two hours.
