I have never needed to call them.
I have had neighbors call them in my apartment building.
Someone's wife, who has Alzheimer's, wandered off a block away. The police were called and all the staff went looking for her. She was brought home safely. The police found her at the car wash. I was glad that she was found in a matter of a few hours and not lost too long.
Sometimes, a person with Alzheimer's thinks they had items stolen and want to call the police. The police know enough to treat the person kindly.

We called the police last summer when someone tried to break into (or whatever he was doing) a persons car that had broke down in front of our house. He was arrested while fooling around up under the car. He tried to lie and say he was the owner, but we had saw the owner get picked up by another car, so we know he was lying. Later on that night the true owner of the car had a tow drunk come and pick up his car.

About a year ago I went to my mailbox and began checking out the envelopes we had received.  Suddenly, out of nowhere, a drunk ( or very high ) guy in a pickup truck comes plowing through right towards me.  He barely missed hitting me as I had to jump out of the way.

I got a description of the guy and the truck.  Fortunately, he pulled off the road on the next block.  I got in my truck and casually drove by to make sure it was indeed him.

Quickly I got home and called the police.  In less than 5 minutes I heard not one but 2 sirens coming to get drunky.

The last time I called the police was a couple of years ago.  I had someone call me claiming they were from Publishers Clearinghouse and that I had won.  I have a friend who is the Sheriff and he told me it was a scam.

I once called the police when I saw that someone had left their truck running while they went into the supermarket in our town. Ok, so the truck might be stolen but that wasn't what bothered me. It was the 4 kids left unattended in the back seat that bothered me. Presumably the considerate parent had left the truck on so that the air conditioning would work for the kids. I waited nearby until the police arrived.

Hello to everyone out there in Fusion Cash World:

I don't remember exactly when the last was that I called the police.  But, I think it might have been about a year ago more or less.  And, the reason I called the police is that one day as I took my usualy walks that I like taking during the day, I had gone to the store out in Riverside, CA where I and my husband Mario reside.

And, as I excited the cvs store where I had gone to.......or was about to go to........all of a sudden, I see this younger couple and this young man about in his twenty's was yelling at his girlfriend and on top of that he was slapping her in the face, and she just stood there and took his emotional, as well as, physical abuse.

This guy looked as though he might be on drugs or something.  He got me scarred and I kept my distance from both of these what i considered to be "weird people".  Anyways, I stepped into the store and let the manager know what was going on outside of his store.

And, the manager told me that they had reported it to security or something like that.

Anyways, I noticed that this incident that I just shared with everyone out there at Fusion Cash continued for quite a while.  So, I walked over to Boost Mobile and talked with girl behind the counter and asked her to call secuity to try and to get them to hurry up and to take care of this situation.

My concern was for the woman to stay safe.

So, anyways, the woman behind the counter at Boost Mobile agreed to call security on this couple.

And, I thanked her and left.  And then, I went back to the store and then I called the police on this incident because I just thought that this man had definitely overstepped his boundaries and that this woman needed to get protected from such horrible abuse from this monster.

Well later on I learned from the woman at Boost Mobile that the police had come out and that they had spoken with both the man and the woman and that the woman did not press charges and that she went home with this man.

And, I just think that both of these people need professional help and I also think that this woman made the wrong choice in staying with this man!
