UGetPaid, I admire your passion and ingenuity!  Please do come back and give us a report later with your results.  I, personally, would feel like I was invading your space if I pulled out my cellphone and tried to scan your shirt, even though you were obviously inviting that action.  I feel sure you will create curiosity.  I would be more likely to jot down a website URL from a shirt than actually get close enough to use my scanner.

I am still waiting for the shirts and hope to get them sometime this week or early next.  They called me last Wednesday and said that the shirts I had requested from their in store stock could not be used -- something about the material and printing method would result in image ink bleeding - which I could not have!  So the shirts are going to be $17 pre-tax rather than $14, but that's a small extra price to pay.

pstovall, I hadn't thought of that possible reaction, although it is legitimate. I think that it will be possible for people to scan without me even realizing it.  It should hopefully be large enough that you don't have to be right on top of me to get a successful scan - as long as I am standing still!

As I said, I will most likely get the most exposure in rollercoaster ride lines.  And if you have ever been in one of those, you know that very few people know how to "respect personal space"!   ::)

You can beat that $15 a month you need by getting 52 cents a day through the hipmunk hotel, daily cash email, and paid to click... You can do all that in 3 minutes and just collect referral money. If I had 100 referrals, I would just stop by each day, do that and cash out and quit my crappy 2nd job hehe.

I paid for and picked up my shirts today.  They look very sharp - even better than I expected.  I am going to try to attach a photo, making sure to cover part of the QR code with the shirt sleeves so that I do not post an actual link to the site (don't want to violate the rules).  I got four t-shirts (gold, charcoal, light gray, and light blue) and one gray sweatshirt.  All told, the cost was $87 with tax.  These are not thin/cheap material shirts, so I think the cost was appropriate.  I may never know if I make back the price in actual referral earnings as a direct result of the shirt QR codes, but on a good month, I can easily make back the $87 in earnings from my two top sites.
So at the very least, I have $80+ in new clothes.  ;)

"You get an A+ for creativity!"  Crisstar's right, UGetPaid, you do get an A+ for creativity.  But aren't referrals on FC considered bonus earnings?  Therefore, you can't cash out with just them; you have to have $15 of non-bonus earnings first, right? That's very hard to get without qualifying for surveys or spending money on offers.  So you could end up with $10, $20, $100 worth of referral earnings just sitting there and maybe even disappearing after the 180 day limit on waiting to cash out.  Maybe FC should lower the non-bonus earnings threshold or, better yet, take referral earnings out of the bonus category.  That would certainly help me and, no doubt, many other FC workers, too.
If your lucky enough to have $100 or even $10 on your account  in referral earnings, you'd be foolish not to spend a few minutes on the site doing a few quick and easy offers.  I cash out almost every month and don't do surveys or paid offers.  I mostly do videos, PTC and Hipmunk. Very doable.

I agree and have been doing it for many years now.
