When traveling, what hotel do you prefer to stay at? I like Residence Inn, Embassy Suites,Marriott,  to name a few.

I don't have a preference but I also like the ones you mentioned.  I have registered in a few rewards programs so I would choose those places first.

My favorite hotel to stay at when I'm traveling is the Marriott.  I have found them to have good customer service and the rooms are always nice and clean.   :)

my brother and his daughter stayed at a long term stay hotel.
It was very nice for them.
I have noticed that some hotel chains have disappeared in the last few years.
They might just be losing money for some reason and can't stay in business.
One motel [I never could understand the difference between hotel and motel except the letters "h"/"m"]
was changed into an assisted living facility.
I don't if Country Inns and Suites motel chain exists anymore.
That was a nice one.

It really depends where I go and what is near there but I do look for a clean hotel.

Depending where I go, I stay with the Comfort Inn chains. I haven't had any issues with them.

It has been so long since I traveled i dont even know what my preference is. I used to just look at reviews for wherever i was going and then balance that with best value and that is how i chose. Not particularly brand loyal with hotels.
