no retirement

I would like to retire but I will probably be one of those who will have to work until I die.  My husband's medical expenses keeps me working overtime!

I retired in the year 2000 and I am NOT bored at all. Most of my kids went to college and two have Masters Degrees, but they paid their own way or used student loans. Life wasn't handed to me on a silver platter and I wasn't about to ruin my kids future by doing that to them.

Even if I retire from my job of 20 years right now, I still have to be doing something! I have to stay active and I believe that if you keep your mind active, you live longer... that's just my theory anyway. lol

I agree, and the extra money doesn't hurt either.  My husband has been home since just before Christmas, from an accident at work, he goes back in 4 more weeks.  I keep telling him I married him for better or worse...............just not for lunch!
