What is Thanked

Hope I'm not a pest here again. Been exploring the site this morning.
What is "Thanked" in profile? How to I thank others?
Also, is it possible to thank the one whose referral brought me here. How do I see what her user name is?

People can click the 'say thanks' button if your post was helpful to them.  It doesn't affect anything else but moreso just a way for people to see who is helpful when you have a question.  Welcome to Fusioncash!

I don't remember how many posts it is but for some reason I am thinking it is like 30 but after you reach a certain number of posts in the forum a 'say thanks' button will appear under all of everyone's information on the left.  I asked this same question when I first started with Fusion Cash!

Also I'm not sure about the second part of your question.  I don't know that you can see who referred you here unless it was a direct referral.

I, too, was unsure of the purpose of the 'Thanked' function on the forum. But 'thank you' (no pun intended, LOL) for the clarification. :-)

It's under the profile pic and info of members.  I got it 3 times it says, but I have no idea what for, but it's nice to know I possibly helped people that much.

I have not seen that, but I am sure some of the more seasoned members on this site like  may be able to answer that, I always find helpful info from members who are really adept at working this site. Good Luck, I will be looking for response in the forum.

Does anyone know if there is a way to tell which particular posts have generated a hit from the "thanks" button from other users.  It's not essential, but as my own thanks counter rises, I'd be interested to know what is was that someone found helpful enough to click a thank you.  I think I am only at 10 thanks at the moment, so nothing groundbreaking...  It is coming more from my own curiosity than anything else.
