thought of day

“When another person makes you suffer, it is because he suffers deeply within himself, and his suffering is spilling over. He does not need punishment; he needs help. That's the message he is sending.”

That's so true. When a person is acting as such they are calling out for help but most of the time it goes unnoticed.

Wonderful words of wisdom! This is often forgotten. I forget it myself at times, but it's good to be reminded.

this is true in some cases as long as  the person wants or accepts help

Other times, the person that makes another suffer gets ENJOYMENT from making others suffer.  It might seem incomprehensible, but there are others that "get their kicks" by causing others pain.  (Whether they are abusing children, adults or animals.)  These types of people DO need punishment, because they think they are above the law.  They refuse to seek help, because they don't think they have a problem.

Even mental health professionals won't deal with these people, because the people don't believe they have a problem.  It's best to not waste any sympathy on this type of person.  It's best to get as far away from this type of person ASAP.

I wish I could get as much as sleep as I can, and that's my thought of the day.
