The winter months are tough to handle when a person has chronic
Pain and fatigue. This is what I am dealing with. Anyone else

Although I too have chronic pain (neuropathy due to diabetes) the cold doesn't seem to exacerbate it any. However my girlfriend has fibromyalgia and has mentioned how she needs to stay warm or else the pain gets worse. And as for fatigue during the winter, that's more an aspect of the shortened daylight we get rather than due to the temperature. But, yes during the winter I tend to feel more tired than during the summer.

Yes and I am totally miserable.  Add to the chronic pain and fatigue extremely difficult mobility and I fell a couple of days ago and now my leg is almost completely bruised.  But I continue on - what else am I gonna do?  Well I am sorry to hear you suffer as well and here is hoping you feel better soon.   :rose:

Chronic pain is nothing to laugh about.  And as we get older we notice it so much more. Since I have a lot of scar tissue on my spine and hips, laying down and relaxing for a short time helps me get through most days. The worst is when I first get up and am so stiff that it is hard to get around and as the day goes on I loosen up some. Then it is time to do some relaxing for an hour or so.  Getting old still sucks.

Yep.  Not so much the fatigue, but the pain.  The only thing that helps is staying warm and the heating pad.

I have chronic pain & is worse in winter.  My fave place to be is under my electric blanket or a epsom salt soak in a jet spa tub helps some too but there are days when nothing helps much at all.  I know lack of sleep makes mine worse (fibro).  Learning to deal with it---it's not easy.

I deal with chronic pain and sometimes get so depressed; then I remember how truly blessed I am, and it somewhat helps!
