missing information
« on: December 19, 2015, 06:26:54 am »
I have a new doctor [nurse practitioner].
She forgot to tell me the name of the doctor she is affiliated with.
When the lab called me to let me know they were coming "tomorrow morning", the lady mentioned this doctor's name.
I repeatedly said that I don't know anyone by that name.
Finally, I said goodbye, having handled the call as a wrong number.
I genuinely thought the lab had the wrong person.
After I hung up, I looked on my computer to see if I could find out who this doctor was and if in fact, he was associated with my NP.
I found his name under her photo, returned the lab's phone call and scheduled blood work for next week.

It all depends on where you live. In some cities, you never see a nurse. You see a real Doctor all the time.
