The entire insurance industry makes we want scream and hit something.  Its all based on fear...fear that my house will burn down, fear that I'll crash the car, fear that I'll get cancer. Drives me crazy.

I am fortunate that I have good insurance through my former employer, however it is costly, this whole insurance industry just needs a lot of work!

I just got full time now and I got employers insurance my co pay is 20 per visit to the dr. I went in for some glass and I was able to get them with out paying nothing. Thank God for that. I pay $179 per month it covers health for me and my family, Vision and Dentist for myself only. So far it's been good. I have gone to a Acupuncture and I didn't have to pay any thing and I also went to a chiropractor and no co payment, so it depends on the doctor.

I don't have any insurance at all.  The cheapest they wanted to give me was 400 a month with a 10,000 deductible.  since I never go to the doctor, we come out cheaper just paying the fine at tax time.  I really don't see how the govt. thinks people can afford to pay fines for not having insurance when they cant afford the insurance itself!

Thank goodness my husband and I have Medicare plus secondary insurance. We've had it for over five years and it has been very good insurance for us. We have not had to pay anything our of pocket except for premiums and a $147 deductible each year which is just terrific. What a problem heatlh insurance usually is!

Yeah, all of my office visits are out of pocket (after a deduction from my insurance company). It sucks to pay more at the drs office but I am paying substantially less in premiums. Since I (knock on wood) don't go to the dr often it is actually saving me money.

All insurances are different and finding doctors that takes your particular insurance.  It can be a bit of a headache trying to choose a health insurance that isn't too expensive.

So far my health insurance works ok and I am a little satisfied.

The health/medical insurance that I have is through my former employer.  Sometimes my insurance is more than the previous year.  One year my co-pay was only $10 then it increased to more than $40.  I don't complain about that but if I have to see a specialist, the co-pay is really too expensive.  They think that I go to a specialist for cosmetic reasons which is not true and they don't care.

ObamaCare has just about ruined insurance for health care.  People should be able to buy catastrophic insurance and then pay for all of the rest out-of-pocket.  Doctors would then be able to lower their charges because they wouldn't need so many employees to handle insurance work.
