Does anyone go all out for Halloween? I use to when my son was little, but now only 1 or 3 decorations.

No, I don't. I haven't celebrated Halloween since elementary school.

I wish! I don't really live in a place at the moment that allows me to decorate freely, but hopefully next year my place will be the spookiest one on the street!  :) :pumpkin: I've always loved Halloween more than any other time of the year.

I don't do anything for Halloween. When I was little it was fun, but now I think it's pointless. I can buy my own candy the other 364 days of the year.

I just stay in and watch scary movies. I have a bag of M&M's and a bottle of Dr. Pepper for the night and that's about it. The only decorating we've done is we put up some Great Pumpkin stickers up on the window that we got from Walmart last week.

No, I will probably stay in and hand out candy to all the neighborhood kids

Nope.  One plastic pumpkin outside the door and that's it.

Candy is ready to give out to kids if any come by but that is it. I don't go all out.

Something similar can be said about many of the other holidays. For example, someone doesn't have to wait for Valentine's day to show love and appreciation to the person they are dating or married to.

This will be the first Halloween in many years that I won't be going to a Halloween party on Halloween night (although my GF's brother will be hosting one next week). The last several years, I was actually running karaoke / DJ parties at local bars, but I think this year because it lands on a Saturday, the bars wanted bigger draws like a full band. The other years, the bars would sometimes have a couple of parties: one on Halloween night itself (when I'd play) and another the closest Saturday to Halloween to bring in more people and usually would include a real band as their entertainment. But it won't be too terrible... I'll be able to go trick-or-treating with my GF's daughter, and maybe hand out candy too.

I use to go out for Halloween about 10 years ago.
