October 26, National Mincemeat Day!

Do you like mincemeat pie? Or is it saved for Thanksgiving or Christmas dinner? Do you have a old family recipe? I would love to try yours. My grandma made this pie one with meat and one with fruit. Have you tried this pie? I like dates, raisins, grapes and prunes but I like the meat that goes with it also can't decide lol. Don't be shy this pie is you either like it or hate it. Have a gr8 day I only wish you happiness.

Don't think I've ever had a mincemeat pie.  I've always heard the name but never have come in contact with one.

my mother used to make this i didn't like it that much but others loved it. She only made it for Thanksgiving but give me the pumpkin pie any day.

Im 40+ and never tried mincemeat till last year, I did not care for it at all, I guess its an aquired taste
