Movie theaters security?

Not really... Just being outside has the risk of encountering a psychopath...Overall I doubt movie theaters or any public places would up security (unless something big happened to there)

security sounds like a good idea except for one thing. they dont carry firearms. i think a police officer would be a better idea. i know its not the kind of things you should think about when going to a movie but it is just crazy these days.

Our family went to a movie a couple weeks ago. A cop just stood where the movie employee tears the tickets. They did not check anything at all. Anyone could have brought something in. I believe there should be a scanner to walk through.

I don't know why movie theaters are being targeted.  There was another shooting today.  How do they get in with weapons?

You can't have security every where.  And even places with security, like the schools, still have shootings.  They can't be everywhere at the same time.  And if you have to pay a security guard to be in every building every where the price of things will be so high you can't afford anything.  What we need to do is start punishing people for their crimes.  And when you shoot a bunch of people instead of making the person famous their name need never be mentioned.  Their face never shown on television.  They go out in a blaze of glory and that is what they are wanting.
