I would like to know peoples opinion on farmers.  I am a farmer myself.  We grow corn, wheat, soybeans, hay & beef cattle.   ;D

I think you guys are great and I would love to do this if I had the chance, very possibly in future I would own a farm and grow organic. I don't know much about recent regulations but I would love to know if there is any truth to forcefully making farmers(maybe commercial) grow GMOs instead of organic. ?

I could never be a farmer. Way too lazy. However, I appreciate all the food they provide America. :D

Sounds cool. Don't really know any farmers. How long have you been a farmer. Family business?

If the animals are allowed to roam like they should, I salute you.
If you keep them in small cages where they can barely move and don't let them outside to get sunlight and their natural diet, I definitely do not.

Although I am not living on one today, I grew up on a farm. I know how difficult it is to live the farm life, but I have no regrets. What I learned on that farm made me the woman I am today! I LOVE FARMERS! What I don't like are the corprations that are coming in and buying up all the farms to cash in on the government subsidies! What a waste of good land!

I grew up on a farm and it was hard work, but worth it.  I loved the wide open spaces and your neighbor not living practically in your living room.  I think its great your being an organic farmer.
