I will be happy when it all over. When the snow is gone, spring is here.

Recently my environment, science, and technology professor was talking about global warming... About how several parts of the ocean's water is warmer, creating a more potent storm... Donn't mind some snow, just don't like freezing rain

I feel so bad for you pressman.  We got hit hard last year with snow.  We live in PA and don't get the amounts of snow you get, but like you, there was no place to put the excess snow.  They were dumping into lakes and rivers, but ever that wasn't enough.  Stay safe and warm, and try to think spring!

Snow is beautiful to look at, especially  when it is falling.  But then I'm done with it.

Here in northern NJ we often get the same type of storms Boston gets, but this year we have been very lucky and only been on the fringes of storms that New England has been getting. As a result, we have gotten a lot less snow and it hasn't been too bad getting around for us.
