To be honest, yes. My parents were. They sell you a good story, they tell you the floors are great and the best in the industry. But the reality is that they are not. If you're shopping for hard wood floors, look into Pergo and or Lumber Liquidators. They have much better floors. My parents floor, about less than a year later started peeling. They bubbled at the slightest amount of wetness. She is even afraid to mop the floors now. Stay away from Empire flooring.
