I use crest 3D white. It was recommended by my dentist because I had a lot of stains on my teeth.

I use safflower oil.  It's called oil pulling and I learned about it when I was watching Dr. Oz.  You can also use sesame oil where you swish the oil around in your mouth for a while and it pulls germs, bacteria, etc. out.

After swishing it around you spit it out in the sink.  I recently adopted this idea as one of my health and beauty tricks.
