I can Identify with your confusion, but I do keep trying to find tasks that I like and understand.  Some of the tasks are just plain fun, and when you find one of those, it is great.  I mostly do the Google Search type ones, but I almost always run into one or two where I can't find the answer no matter how much time I spend looking.  When that happens I just go on to another task.  It pays to check the list every day.  There are always new tasks available, and you might just hit on one that you like and that will provide you with a good chunk of change.

I am glad to know I was not alone and I am not  dumb. 
Sorry it took me a couple days to get back here I have had a migraine for the past 2 days. 
I will keep these suggestions in mind.
As of right now I have plenty of other things here at FC that are helping me make money.

Try doing the surveys on there first, you really can't go wrong with them.  Then try exploring tasks by clicking on them and checking the instructions to see if you can do them, if you feel you can't  then click out of it.  Don't think that 1 or 2 cent tasks are easier than say 5 or 6 cent tasks because that is not always the case. Some 5 cent tasks like the Investment ones are fairly simple and can be done quickly, the lower paying tasks can be difficult and monotonous and tend to include accuracy conditions.  I personally have done thousands of tasks of all kinds and don't worry about accuracy.  When I find AN easy one I do it until I finish it out.  You need to have Bookmarklet to do certain tasks and that doesn't seem to work with Internet Explorer so I use FireFox with those tasks.  I finished in the top 2 on the leader board for 6 months straight until last month when I was doing less tasks because I had some real work to do.  Good luck, and keep tasking.

some tasks are confusing but most I do aren't and pay well... you don't need the CF extension to do most of the tasks... I do have the extension and it works on most of the tasks that require it... it's a personal choice if you want it or not, not required to do most tasks

I feel like it more often not crediting and denying you your points. Sometime,s I feel like the answers I submitted were right, yet it comes back saying I was expelled. I can't stand that.

I agree i have tried crowd flower and it just isn't for me I will just stick to the surveys, radio, forum, paid to click, and the video those do just fine for me anyways.

Here's some tips for tasks: 1) Don't get frustrated, there is a big learning curve for tasks-took me awhile! Months!
2)register for Crowdflower when a task asks you to sign in  3)stick with one or two types of tasks to get proficient because many are broken and this way you'll know the task is broken-not you doing it incorrectly 4) File a help ticket and keep track of the job no. to broken tasks so you don't waste your time trying to do then over and over. 5) Copy and paste URLs when asked to put them in a field-I know people that actually try to type them in!

Crowd flower is confusing most of the time for me unless by chance I come across some really easy tasks. I try to earn with other ways.
