Sunday Dinner

What do you all plan on cooking for Sunday dinner? I am cooking roast, chicken and dressing, rice, macaroni & cheese & collard greens. I have to cook 2 meats because my son doesn't eat chicken, and my daughter doesn't eat roast.

Nothing.  I have to work later today so I'll just take leftovers.

I have no one to cook for today but myself. I think I'll make a salad. 

I'm also planning on making a chicken pot pie, but it will be for tomorrow's dinner and/or lunch or both.

I made roasted chicken, rice, mashed potatoes, gravy, salad, corn, and chololate cake.

Since it is just the two of us I rarely cook anything elaborate. When I was growing up we had sunday suppers at grandmas house. Those were something!

wow! sounds really good. we decided not to cook today. having BOOJANGLE S Chicken& biscuits & dirty rice. been hearing lots about it so we decided to try them,good but doesnt touch KFC,Church s or Popeyes.

  We are baking a ham, making homemade scalloped potatoes and green bean casserole.  My son is baking homemade bread and if I don't poop out I may make banana pudding.  Whew !  Will be leftovers for at least a few days yum yum.

Sunday is our lazy day. Usually just call out for pizza.

I'm always surprised when people prepare large meals because the way it is at our house, we each fix our own dinner and drift into separate rooms, haha. That sounds like a nice, hearty meal though! I'd love to learn how to cook more dishes sometime in the near future.

I do not plan on cooking at all. i guess i just decide on some fast food at some point but im not that hungry yet so maybe ill have nothing tonight!

We don't have Sunday dinners, but I use that day to cook meals for the rest of the week.  Our schedules vary a lot so we're not always together to eat.

i nooked some leftover beef stew which i made on friday.  it tasted even better then the day i made it.  trying to clean out all the leftovers by midweek so i can start cooking new again
