What did you do for your holiday weekend?

I relaxed the who weekend. I did not leave the house saturday or sunday. A friend
brought dinner over monday and i went to the store in the afternoon.
That's all she wrote for me. what about u?

My weekend was a typical weekend until my daughter called Sunday night wanting to know who was cooking out on Monday.  I told her no one had plans to cookout due to other things going on this year.  She gave me a guilt trip since she said she had planned on driving in for the day to spend with family so I decided to have a cookout for my in-laws since my mother-in-law has been sick and is no longer able to cook holiday meals.  The word was spread to everyone.  Monday morning I went to the store, spent $100 on food, came home and cooked it, took it to my mother-in-law's house and then none of the in-laws showed up.  It was only my daughter, son-in-law, husband, mother-in-law and myself.  Which it didn't matter to me if they came or not, but if I had known they weren't coming, I wouldn't have cooked so much food.  My mother-in-law was disappointed none of her other children came.

I worked 12 hours and when I came home I crashed.

nothing much since my boyfriend was working all weekend. I mostly cleaned the house and did some shopping.
