Stale Tasks

I do many many tasks for CrowdFlower on here and wonder why CF doesn't get rid of some tasks that have not gotten finished for months!  It's obvious that for one reason or another that people can't finish the task, usually because of some glitch on them in which we give the right answer and don't get verification, therefore the task never totally gets completed and we have to look at it on the list for months.  Has anyone else noticed this?  I keep trying to do the tasks hoping they fixed the glitch but just waste my time because it won't verify.  I do however, file tickets and usually get credit but I feel they should delete these tasks and give us fresh ones Who is with me?

It does sound to me that CrowdFlower should do a little house cleaning on the task list.  There are many task takers and of those, quite a few are having issues similar to yours.  Yes, I am with you.

I am definitely with you on on this, there are some tasks that you give the right answer and it will not verify, after a couple of days they should be fixed, but they are not.

I agree, it is time for a change. Some tasks need to go. There are just too many issues with them and that is why I don't try to do them often.

This has been a complaint of mine, too.  When I write to CF about problems, they will credit me, but these tasks remain in the list.  I think when there are problems with these Tasks that they should be removed until whoever needs to fix them, fixes them.  Today, the couple of Tasks I was able to complete, didn't even credit to my account, which I wrote to CF about, too.  Not sure whose end this problem is on, but I wrote anyway and sent them a print screen along with the complaint.

I noticed that too but crowdflower for a while when I write them they never credit me so it is always a wast of time and money for me.  They used to be good about crediting me when I would write them about these problems but they stopped so I stopped filing the tickets. It is nerve wracking to try them over and over again since you don't know if it is going to be the same again until you try it out since a lot of those kind of tasks look a like.

I guess you can email FC or Crowdflower about it.  I've never done any of their tasks.  Sorry I can't be of more help!

I agree. I have to keep a list of the broken tasks so that I don't repeat them. I file a help ticket and get credit but I guess if you do that task again, you won't get another credit.
