Terrorist Attacks
« on: August 06, 2014, 06:23:16 am »
The Bible tells us to make disciples of the nations.  In John 4 Jesus is a beautiful example of an evangelist.  He initiates the conversation with a Samaritan woman and that's most often the case - you have to initiate.  This Samaritan was ignorant and uneducated and thought she worshiped God.  Jesus said to her, "you worship what you do not know."  Anyone who believes in God but not Christ is going to be eternally damned.  Does the Bible not teach us to consider others as more important than ourselves?  Our hearts should break for the unsaved.

If you knew about the terrorist attacks on 9-11-11 a week before they happened would you have warned people?  To spare their life?

If we believe Hell to be the real place that it is, we should warn people.  We need to spread the gospel which is the only thing that saves; not my testimony, not your testimony.

We shouldn't desire for others salvation for their sake or our own - we should desire salvation for others so God gets the glory, the praise, the worship that He rightfully deserves.

Amen!  I pray every day in my morning prayers for the Lord to bless me with the opportunity to share the Gospel with a lost soul.  That is one of the ultimate commandments in addition to loving your neighbor.
Have a wonderful day!

If someone had warned (which actually they did) of the 9-11 attacks they would be ignored (which they were) and not believed (which they were not).

I get what you are saying and I agree.  But when people do not believe in God or Heaven or Hell then warning them of Hell is futile.  They do not believe it is true.

Romans 5:12 reads......When Adam sinned, sin entered the world. Adam's sin brought death, so death spread to everyone, for everyone sinned.

Romans 6:23 reads.....The wages sin pays is death

Romans 6:7 reads....At death a man is acquitted from his sin

Acquitted means.....to relieve from a charge or a fault

The point of all this is to show once we die we are acquitted from what caused us to die to begin with.

Christendom teaches lies that more punishment happens. That is a lie!!!Discernment from bible shows exactly what sins is...what it does....and after we are dead it accomplished just that.

Many here even with truth under their nose wont agree i know. But as i have stated many times before to the many that read this if just 1 get the truth what bible says it as worth stating!!

Also...if we knew we could warn others of 9/11.....LOL......Gods people in over 236 lands sounding a warning.....how blind must one see NOT to see that????

But how will you know if they believe or not if you don't talk to them.  The elect don't walk around with E's on their back, only God knows who the elect are.

Long story short, a friend of mine was in the hospital dying, I wanted to evangelize to her because she isn't saved, my husband said no (again, long story) if she's meant to be saved God will save her - BUT what if I was the means that God was going to use to get the gospel to her?

You don't know - only God knows.
