I just googled "Smoothies recipes" and found lots of websites that provide smoothie recipes. The allr ecipes website looks good, but I haven't tried any recipes so I can't vouch for it.

I'm not sure but you can probably Google some.
Opinion: 1) a view, judgment, or appraisal formed in the mind about a particular matter 2) belief stronger than impression and less strong than positive knowledge

Depends on if you're looking for things naturally high in protein or if you plan on adding protein powder

If you're going the protein powder route you can pretty much just throw in your favorite fruits and I like to add spinach and your liquid(milk, yogurt, water, juice, etc) and add in the protein powder

Otherwise I would actually suggest looking at weight loss and/or fitness sites. They tend to make the more nutritious recipes that actually taste good than some other recipe sites

We like smoothies for breakfast with protein powder and milk on it, with banana, yogurt and spinach.

Thanks everyone for the awesome ideas and suggestions!! I know I can Google it, but just thought someone might have some ideas off the top of their head, which a few of you do. This is not actually for me. My father-in-law has Parkinson's disease with dementia and hasn't been eating well lately, although he does still seem to like going after the sweets. The doctor told my mother-in-law to just let him eat whatever he wants, like cookies, ice cream, etc., as long as he's eating. So I thought maybe some high-protein shakes/smoothies might be a better choice for him than all the sugar-packed stuff.

i agree with you,,,,,   to many sweets.     smoothies would be so much better for him.   lots of fruits and veggies smoothies would be great.  I have a smoothie for breakfast every day.  and i always start it off with spinach or kayle  and then whatever i throw in it  lol.

so much better then cookies and ice cream.   he can have that for a little snack later in the day  :)
