Do you feel like you can do what they do buying and selling houses?

If I had plenty of money and lived in an area where the buying market was good.  I live in a rural area and most people around here are struggling to keep what they have or losing what they have so they can't just go buy a house.  I do not believe it is as easy as they make it look on tv.  Yeah if you can get something that has been foreclosed on so you get it at auction for less than $30,000 and it is worth $90,000 to $100,000 then yeah you can buy it, paint it, make it look spiffy and if you have a buyer sell it and make money.  But I feel like it is like the couponing thing they show on tv - it works on tv but not in real life.  Most places do not tripple coupons and if they do it is only up to  like 50 cents and most things you cannot get coupons for.  You have to remember it is a tv show and it is mostly for entertainment purposes.

I think it only works if you have a lot of money to start out with. That's a great comparison to extreme couponing. Not only do very few places triple coupons, but most coupons specifically state that they cannot be combined with any other coupon. So the way they stack coupons doesn't work in real life either.
