should not even matter. should do online application. do interviews over the phone. no asking of age or birthdays beyond are you over or under the age of 18

It is more important to hire a motivated individual no matter what age.  The drive and work ethic is what is important...and nothing else.

Seasoned workers are better to hire.  Most fresh employees are a headache.  They aren't interested in doing a good job, their interest is doing as little as they can and then move one.  Seasoned workers knows about the ins and outs of working and doing a good job.
