I used to like to go to the beach on Sundays.  Way back in the olden days everything was closed on Sundays...even the malls and you were almost forced to go outside and spend time with the family.  now things are too rushed and too busy...I sound old.  have a great day...

We used to go to my grandparents house on the farm. My aunts and uncles and cousins came to. We had a blast.

We used to go to my grandparents during the weekend.  Now we mostly go to our cottage or visit friends.  It's depended recently though since my job started asking me to work weekend.

Sundays we went to church then to Grandma's house for lunch.  Sometimes we traveled an hour to the other grandparent's home.

On the way home, we might stop at a DQ for a dilly bar.

Sunday night TV was Mutual of Omaha's Wild Kingdom, Walt Disney, and Bonanza.

Well as a kid myself, we always spent the day with our father and we would go see grandparents and aunts and uncles, then as I had children of my own, I pretty much followed the same pattern and took my kids see their grandparents . Lots of good memories, my kids have grown in to adults and my parents are now gone, I have no grandchildren yet, hopefully I will someday so I can make memories for them.

Growing up most sundays I went to church then had a quick lunch time with friends if it was summer we were often sailing.
Our sunday dinners  were very casual and most of the time were hot dogs and I was allowed to eat in front of the TV and watch walt Disney. :rainbow: :rose: :peace:
